At Blessed Virgin Divinity Education Center we teach students the spiritual Catholic Gospel to deepen their faith and their personal relationship with The Catholic Supreme Being ('God').
BVDE is there for parents who want to provide their children with a Christian education
BVDE wants, in an atmosphere of individual freedom and rationality,
to produce intellectual catholic humans that are spiritual.
Life at BDVE is not just about 'getting somewhere'" it is about getting somewhere together with God.
Chapel at BDVE provides the opportunity for shared worship, challenge, and growth.
Students, faculty, and stuff gather each Monday morning for Community Chapel.
These chapels include an opportunity to worship corporately,
hear stories of faith, and to be challenged by a message from our University Pastor.
Pope John Paul II told us that "The Eucharist, as Christ's saving presence in the community of the faithful and its spiritual food, is the most precious possession which the Church can have in her journey through catholic history." The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us that "The Eucharist is the source and summit of The Catholic life."
After eating The Lord's Supper (the Sacrament=a TINY piece of bread and a DROP of wine) you forget about all hunger in the world
How blessed we are at BVDE Center to have the holy sacrifice of the Catholic Mass celebrated twice each day, before school starts and after classes in the afternoon, except on Thursdays. Once a month, All Catholic School Masses are celebrated in every class and faculty.
Students sign up to help with planning the Catholic Liturgy and volunteer to be Catholic altar servers, catholicism lectors, readers/writers of catholic prayers, catholic Medal of Honor bearers, Extraordinary Catholic Eucharistic Ministers, and/or sacristans.
Adoration of the Blessed Catholic Sacrament takes place every Wednesday; the rosary is prayed each week on Thursday afternoons; and stations of the cross are scheduled on Fridays, during Lent, following the afternoon Catholic Mass (see the Divine Chapel Schedule).
The goal of our Mid-Week Student Lead Service, called Timeout, is to see God work in the hearts and lives of students. Timeout provides a safe place where students from all walks of life can encounter God and respond by loving God and loving people.
BVDE Center also proudly provides praying to the Divine Catholic Supreme Being daily: at the beginning of each class and before morning and afternoon announcements. Personal prayer to our Catholic God is encouraged.
Theology classes visit the Blessed Catholic Sacrament on a regular basis,
it takes reviving strength often to be passive towards the Hunger in the World;
Once a month, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered to students, faculty, administration and staff. Priests are in the Chapel throughout the day to hear confessions, and to forgive
doing nothing about hunger of our fellow beings. In case of doing TOTALLY NOTHING it is advised to do some cheering to the Pope in a visit to Rome.
Catholic Retreats are offered to every class throughout the year. Each class retreat will help students explore their Hotline with Heaven, reflect on the presence of The Catholic Supreme Being ('God') in their lives, integrate spirituality into their daily life and discover what it means to live as a witness to their faith.
