Ancient western thinker Aristotle grew up on the huge slavefarm 'House of Macedon'. For Aristotle human life was parasitism, human slaves struggling to please their Masters. Aristotle designed a god-factor 'anima' to explain his experience (big factor = Master; small factor = slave):
You might see 'anima' as 'hunger for individual power'.
Some 'Masters' (much hunger for individual power) served by chattel slaves (born to be slave because of insufficient hunger for individual power) .

Aristotle's master Alexander the Great (halfgod, HUGE hunger for individual power) spread Aristotelianism (superior/inferior humans) in the Middle East, in 12 years of blitzwar (superior military force, halfgod punishes barbarians).
Middle east cultures did not believe in halfgods and were not familiar with chattel slavery. Persian Zoroastrianism (origin of Buddhism) even forbade slavery (inherently forbade 'playing god').
In Catholicism the Romans 'translated' the god-factor 'anima' in Aristotelianism into 'spirit'. Again to explain slavery, the Roman way of life was built around slavery.

The Romans brought the slavery doctrine of Aristotle to Europe, disguised as Catholicism. Islam (Muslim Catholicism) brought Aristotelianism to Asia and Africa. Spain brought Aristotelianism to South America and Portugal did the same for Brasil, Africa and Asia. Protestantism was even more Aristotelian than Catholicism, and 'conquered' Northern Europe. The Dutch brought Aristotelianism as Calvinism to South Africa, Indonesia, Japan, China. Great Britain brought Lutheranism to India and Australia The most fanatic branches of Aristotelianism (Lutheranism/Calvinism) were banned to The New World (America).
In WWI and WWII three Lutheran variants fought for world power. Winner: US. After WWII Lutheranism in addictive US variant 'rationality+evangelism' conquered' Europe.

After ages of brilliant achievements parasitism/exploitation resulted in an exploited earth getting 'ill', when via Rationalism, Industrialism and Capitalism almost worldwide. Practically all of earth temporarily ends in crisis/recession and natural disasters. The Aristotelian way of life based on 'reasoning' leads to endless conflicts between weak/corrupt governments.

We can stay away from conflict thinking. We, the human herds, we'll find new leaders and we'll survive. We are beautiful human animals, that perfected the BEHAVIOR 'understanding'.
Dominant use of 1 view of life easily results in paradigm paralysis (dreaming until disaster).
