Lessons from 2 World Wars: greed and power in the 20th century
Common Sense: Cold Wars are hard-headed Egoism AND Leadership takes Wisdom, not 'Power'
Before WWI (1): Territorium to be divided by Hungry Wolves ![]() WWI (End): a world full of predators ![]() Seen this way before WWI the Western World consisted of
many small differently colored wolves, dominated by around 9 bigger predators. Already based on power balance as created by 'the new rich'. Six of this cluster were the German, British,
French, Austrian-Hungarian Italian and Spanish wolves. They could be called the big six predators. Huge wolves outside Europe were the US, Russia, the Ottoman Empire, The Persian Empire, India, Japan and China.
Communist Russia was a muscle power, no land of wisdom. Capitalist US is a land aiming for individual Glory, no land of Hope. From WWI into WWII (1): GREED The European wolves were not hungry, but nevertheless extremely greedy.
After World War I the formerly tremendously big German wolf (including the huge Austria-Hungary) was temporarily unconscious and the from start bigger
US and Soviet Russian animals were quickly growing to super power wolves. The until
then tough French wolf was crippled and the British wolf wanted to prove that it still was a power player.
From WWI into WWII (End) Then
started power hunt WWII. Apart from the evil tophunter Adolf Hitler, the German alpha wolves did not differ at all from for instance the English and the US alpha animals.
During WII the US/UK wolves castrated the Italian wolf, and after the war the German wolf was was torn
in two pieces. The US alpha wolves didn't dare to risk hunting in Japan, and quite unfair with two atomic bombs in world war two growled a very clear message 'break the fight!'
to the Japanese alpha wolves . Cunningly in one blow also destroying the 400 years old layers of the Dutch husky in Japan Dualism The abstract dualism politics / religion (powerful science and harmless ritual) was INVENTED by the Romans when forced to hide Emperors as Popes. Of course popes behave like 'fossilized ritual', but these church inhabiting travestites also have considerable political power and enormous wealth. Popes are Emperors in new clothes. To keep most power in the Roman Army the following Law was invented: religious leaders have no military power (or said another way: Popes are Puppets on a String. After WWII the
huge shining white American wolf and the equally
huge pitch black Russian wolf began controlling the other animals. The whitish British animal diminished
to an agressive little puppy, but was still dominating the European doggies. A cold war develops, white versus black. The
pack is steady, and to obedient to draw attention. From a bit distance you only see and hear the dominating black and
white wolves.
'Terrorism' Dualism - Monism - Multism
Later the
US wolf 'ate' the Soviet Russian wolf. It was like a commercial for wash powder.
The innocent shining white Christian Angels (of Death) defeat the corrupt dirty black Communist Beasts. The also
medium sized green and yellow Australian coyote seldom takes part in the power
hunt.
The whitish
US wolf is still in size and strength proudly dominating the now restless multicolored pack but has stopped gaining size,
and even gets black spots. And though the US wolf is more scaring, the total group is an awful lot stronger.
and in numbers the Western wolves face an unequal fight. Unionism ALL
races of wolves united to me seem to make a super pack.
Monism is Rigid
In the conflict Israel-Palestine we see 2 cultures in a fight. The world has thousands of antropologers,
does rationally playing power games prevent them from seeing with common sense the effects
of 2 cultures behaving mainly parallel? That results in a social volcano, at present active. You just need to wait for the eruption (paradigm clash).
The outcome of a cultural revolution is unpredictable.
Consider cultural chaos as a cultural storm. Then try to imagine what kind of structures
would survive. Let me give a hint: the building material 'power' is awfully rigid and eats findish cultures like a 'black hole'. Much more flexible and relative is using 'respect'. In a cultural storm first those organizations fundamented on mainly power are blown away like cardhouses. The ones though based on respect show extreme flexibility. See 'fundamental power' as being stone, and 'respect' as chewing gum. 'Fundamental Power', being traditional, keeps it's strenght only in constant 'power circumstances'. Respect keeps strenghth in a huge range of power. Cultural storms (also called revolutions or paradigm shifts) strike 'fundamental power', because of changing the power balance. Fundamental power houses collapse. A major cultural storm is the start of a very long period of social stability. New absolute systems are being constructed. Much later when such a system has burned most of the in this thought world present constructive fuel creativity, then again relative forces increase. This ends in the next social eruption. Monist Value:Money or Power, Result = War Looking for the most used search-words on Internet in the USA I noticed that very high scoring words were: 'money' and 'war'. Not as high as sex, but very high. Top search-words related to war: world war 2, civil war, war, world war 1, Vietnam war, Iraq war, dope war, war in Iraq, cold war, Korean war, world war, gulf war, war on drug, war on terrorism, total war, second world war, Mexican war. Top search-words related to money: money love, make money, free money, cash money, easy money, money to loan, fast money, make money fast. That was an eye-opener to understanding USA society, American values are focused on possession of money and its short history is filled with devastating wars. It is nor really surprising, because most early immigrants were obsessed by 'a better life', and many of them ready to kill for it. Such people didn't leave Europe to find a more beautiful life, but to produce a more wealthy life. The value property is highly devoted in capitalist thinking. Nothing should prevent this goal; no Red Indians; no government; no Mexicans; no Germans; no communists; no Chinese; no Muslims. When the USA doesn't change direction, that leaves to 2 options: (1) A world with only USA (total capitalism), (2) a world without USA (total war). I don't think 1 is acceptable. ![]() Communication or Power and War In fact going to war is admitting failure in usual shapes of communication, and a choice for a totally unsuccesful shape when it comes to producing mutual understanding. It is obviously unproductive to kill the ones you want to convince. Then sure they are silenced, but as well the opinion they defended. So it's only returning to the Darwininian Law of the Fittest. When concerning animals or terrorists 'war' is called 'hunt'. Animals SEEM to respond to respect. Animals in general might differ from human amimals in abstract intelligence, but for sure are in many ways more intelligent. Concerning environment war became the easy choice for destruction instead a choice for the difficult way of symbiosis. It is too easy to blame 'the media' for all this. Sure there are individual journalists doing a fine job, but as a whole 'the media' failed. Too much as a whole it strengthened or MADE the 'absolute' opinions of LOCAL politics, and failed to play the necessary relative role. ![]() The Powerboys or Rational Hunters
Anywhere around the world you find 'rational hunters'. When somewhere is wealth then 'rational hunters' are not far away.
It's as if they smell wealth. They are feared all over the globe.
When hunting in 'rational' way everything is allowed. Mind that 'rationality' is a Roman Catholic Christian logic. I.e. 'rational' hunting (religious or not) is religious war (genocide in stealthy shape).
Rational hunting is a heritage of the Roman Empire. In the end what only counts is the goal wealth.
It's not Christian in the way meant by Jesus to practive slavery and use Capitalist laws in murdering for money, but that ethics is evaded easily.
Then these fanatic religious warriors under pretence of terrorism shouting Independence! kill 'out of defense'.
But animal preys are no real threat anymore. It's greatest threats are The Relative Thinking Human and The Emotional Human. The first one is found in Buddhist Cultures, amongst South American Indian mini-cultures and probly still in African Ethiopia, the second one is still well preserved in the Islamic World. And the first is a peaceful type of human, or to weak for attack. So killing can be replaced by 'assimilating'. But The Emotional Human has a sub-race called Muslim Warrior that is worrisome because it has extreme courage. Rational Hunters took the lead in those Islamic parts of the world where those potentially dangerous preys are still surviving in large numbers. But it appears that their opponents in techniques are The Tigers of Guerilla . Rational Hunters are masters in 'the rule of the fittest', but when it comes to finesse they are more like bone crunching hyenas. And when it comes to courage The Tigers of Guerilla are superior. To prevent being slaughtered in this hunt asks for rude defense of the technically poor but sure not scarce sub-race of hunted human predators. Wisely the rational hunters themselves don't speak about 'hunting'. Instead they invented the term 'war on terrorism'. That way they suggest that killing mudjaheddin (Muslim Warriors) is saving evolution from 'bad' predators. Sharks in human shape, only sharks at present are supposed to be saved, and mudjaheddin should be killed. Time for the WNF to blow the whistle. Nature without mudjaheddin is like forests without tigers. Prisons are the worst of all zoo's. The College Boys or Rational Predators
The question could be: is Western Society totally rationalized? Answer: probably far from that, a rough estimate is that in the 400 years since European Enlightenment 10% to 20% of the population of Western Societies became mainly rational in behavior. WHY is it then that this relatively small group has such tremendous influence? Answer: because this group behaves like a dominant hunting tribe. To become member of such a dominant tribe rational behavior or high IQ is an important selection criterion. The myth is that rational behavior equals common sense. In reality common sense' is far more sophisticated and complex than 'rationality'. In fact 'rationality' is a tiny subset of 'common sense'. This selection does not make this mistake on purpose, but in believing this myth. But the result is equally devastating, society becoming dominated by sub-gangs that THINK to be more clever, but in reality are handicapped in intelligence. USA is suffering most from spreading rationality. At reasonable distance followed by 'Great' Britain. Then again a small thought-canyon and then the rest a the rational Western World is lining up. What is frightening is that organizations like UN, World Bank, IMF, NATO etc. without realizing are part of this rational top-layer. I.e. there is no compromise, this asks for a Total Social Revolution 'attacking' the Western World, or a Total Paradigm Shift. In fact that revolution already started. As to be expected it starts in a neighboring culture, i.e. Islam. And since all compromises have passed it might be bloody. The Muslim Warrior Osama Bin Laden organized a 'jihad', and until now is very successful. But it need not become a totally 'bloody' confrontation. That takes a lot of wisdom (common sense) in Western Society, and a solution as I describe in The Israel-Palestine Conflict. I.e. the media in the 3 major cultures should instead of fuelling the conflict, work together in creating a new paradigm. It's either without any doubt ending up in World War III OR showing wisdom Alexander The Cursed - Hitler The Great Conqueror of the Ancient World, The ten-horned Beast, Dictator of the Third Reich, Emperor of the Greater Germanic Reich Love-stories around Alexander the Cursed are twisting history. The myth: Alexander wanted to unite all people with the bonds of peace. Yes, all familiar people, after wiping away all 'strange' people (terrorists). Freedom of speech active as myth-maker.
Hitler considered 'the Jews' as evil, just like Alexander felt that Zoroastrianism was an 'aberration'.
In my school time in the sixties Alexander was pointed to as 'The Terrible'. Common sense 'terrible' gradually changed in abstract 'great'. Alexander the 'Great' was the first horrible example of what the Greek belief in split of mind and body could cause (fully ABSTRACT belief in 'spirits' or 'flying souls'). A major ancient Greek belief was: Human nature is composed of two disparate elements: the evil titanic element (the body), and the divine Dionysian element (the soul). Death as freeing of the divine soul from the evil body, was welcomed. In record speed Alexander developed to Macedonian super general. He believed his body to be invincible and his soul godlike, and virtually in a series of overwhelming slaughters destroyed the Zoroastrian culture that like Asian cultures believed in unity of body and soul (as true Greek Alexander believed in 'souls' captured in human bodies, and saw the 'unity of body and mind' Zorastrian culture as a 'world of tyranny and oppression'). Not only by military actions, but also by in a kind of inquisition without trials burning and torturing to death practically all Zorastrian 'freethinkers'. In the late 20th century outside protestant circles in the US and Hollywood the image of Alexander the 'Great' changed to Alexander the Cursed. Just like it was before the World Wars. Greek thinking was not alone. Alexander was the paranoid power thinker 'Iskander the Cursed ' as described in the history of Persian civilization.
In a Unicef youth forum I found following text: Iran is a Terror Supporting country. If Iran gets nuclear power [..], Iran will declare war to Israel [..]. The One: Hearsay that enlightens the triumph of education. Personally I'm more concerned about USA fascism and about Iran not daring to defend human values fully, because Israel threatens with nuclear power. Instead of playing the game 'pestering Iran' the Western World might prevent Israel treating Palestinians in fascist ways. Protestant multinational IBM almost succeeded to clean Google of links to annoying websites abouts the very dubious role of IBM in the Holocaust. Maybe Oliver Stone could make a movie about the charitable capitalist institution IBM. Power versus Respecting any Life I found out that some of my sites where visited incognito by the board of companies recycling annually more than a billion bucks. Just by tracing back anonymous IP-addresses. Realizing the DECISIVE utterly dubious role of IBM in the Holocaust, that made me think. Destroying life is against the first rule of evolution: "Honor all life". And earning thousands of bucks never was my ambition. What would be the value for such firms of any shape of life? If evolution had to make 'the choice' between one being producing variance and a heap of paper, then 'deciding' would be easy. Value is a human made concept, but o.k. the decisive value in evolution is variance (and indirectly the power produced). Evolution is not interested in power itself, but only in the power to produce variance. Just one example: Roll Royce engines in fighter planes may produce a lot of noise, but also consume vast amounts of fuel and kill millions of members of evolution. A locally somewhere in space dominant 'power' is considered as lost by evolution when it does not produce significant change anymore in ethics. Then evolution stops spending even one fraction of a second in this in itself entangled power, and starts looking for new ways. Only help from others can bring this from the outside passive power back into the attention of evolution. Some kind of coalition should make it active again. Back to earth. Capitalism and all rational absolute doctrines are dead. But they have amazingly strong points. Only coalition with an alive relativist doctrine can save these characteristics. That would mean rationality back to being only 1 out of limitless logics, and very useful in technology. In ethics the relative views common sense or the in Buddhism practiced rules have more future.
